Large scale models make it impossible to give an exact forecast of the shipping costs within an online shop. Neither a flat rate nor a calculation through the shop software based on the item's weight or value can match reality. Look at the following example:
Three large receiver battery packs have about the same weight AND value as a 1/5 scale body, four sets of crystals have about the same value. Obviously the box needed for the body is much bigger and heavier than those required for the battery packs or the crystals. Flat rate, weight or value based calculation - nothing would be fair. Take it one step further and ship those items together with a complete 1/5th car in the same box. Now the big body will not change the size and weight of the already needed box, thus increasing overall shipping costs only slightly. The crystals wouldn't have any influence at all.
Since this seems to be a FAQ, the shipping weight of a 1/5 scale car is between 12 and 14 kilograms, depending on the car and the selected options. The Buggies are closer to the lower end of the range, the Formula1 and the Competition 2000 are on the heavier side.
No shop software is able to handle that task in a reasonable manner. Therefore the shop will not calculate the shipping costs to foreign countries and shipping costs appear as € 0.00 . The actual costs will be calculated after putting all items in the box that will be used for shipping. These costs will always be added to the price shown in the online shop and you will be informed of those costs prior to shipping!
